Women in Engineering

A print piece commissioned by UBC to advocate gender equality in the engineering workforce, and raise funds for women studying the field.

Black and white engineering images are contrasted by full colour photography of women in different stages of their education and career. The oversized, unstitched format of the piece lends itself to large, impactful images.

The overarching message of the piece is to work towards achieving a 50-50 workforce balance in the field of engineering—a predominantly male dominated field. This message becomes a typographic display element on the cover and inside spread.
